History-sheeter Nalwa booked under 10th FIR

JAMMU: History-sheeter Ranjodh Singh alias Nalwa, son of Gurbax Singh, resident of Talab Tillo Jammu was, on Thursday, booked for tenth time vide FIR No. 270/14 under Sections 420,467,468 and 471 RPC at Police Station, Gandhi Nagar.
One Gajan Singh, Secretary, Sikh Welfare Society, Transport Nagar, Jammu has submitted a complaint addressed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in which he alleged that hard core criminal Ranjodh Singh who was recently released by High Court in the double murder case after a long judicial custody, is active in regrouping his team of criminals to establish his supremacy and made an unsuccessful attempt on the life of one Surinder Singh, son of Isher Singh, resident of Sainik Colony.
In his complaint, he further said that Nalwa who remained on the rolls of Law Department as regular candidate for three years LLB course from 1990 – 93, also remained on the rolls of Government Medical College Jammu as Medical Assistant and drew his regular salary as intimated by Director of Health Services Jammu under his letter dated 30th November, 2014, thus committing a big fraud. Gajan Singh also submitted the complaint to Police Station, Gandhi Nagar and accordingly FIR 270/14 was registered. He had already been involved in number of cases and nine FIRs have been lodged in different police stations including FIR 222/92 under Section 307 RPC at Police Station Gandhi Nagar, FIR 81/97 under Sections 307,34,147,148,120-B RPC at Police Station Nowabad, FIR 15/2011 under Sections 307, 34,147,148,120-B, 195 RPC and 25 Arms Act at Police Station Janipur, FIR 24/2010 under Sections 302,120-B RPC and 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Bahu Fort, FIR 214/2012 under Sections 498,109 RPC at Police Station Domana, FIR 377/12 under Sections 371,506,195,120-B RPC, 4/25, 3/25 + 30 Arms Act at Police Station Domana, FIR 348/12 under Section 107 RPC at Police Station Nawabad, FIR 13/13 under Sections 379, 406,411 RPC at Police Station Domana and FIR 70/14 under Sections 452, 307, 147, 148, 323 RPC at Police Station Bahu Fort.
