R S PURA : The one kilometer long historical road of Railway Patri Gogian, the foundation stone of which was laid by the then MLA and the former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohd Sayeed 32 years back, is still awaiting its black topping by the Roads and Building Department.
The locals said that they were facing great difficulty in treading over this road particularly during rainy season. The XEn PWD Abdullah when contacted said that there is no proposal for its black topping in the absence of its projection during the board meeting.
The locals including Vishwanath Gill, Tirath Ram, Subash Chander, Rajesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar and others appealed to the Minister of State for Roads and Building Sunil Sharma to issue suitable instructions to the concerned authorities to provide black topping on this road.
