HCC Kalihand lifts 3rd Jamsheed Khan Memorial T20 trophy

DODA: Hashmi Cricket Club (HCC) Kalihand trounced Friends Cricket Club (FCC) Dhara by 24 runs and won the final of ongoing Third Jamsheed Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament, played at Sports Ground Kalihand, here on Monday.
The tournament was organized by Fareed Khan and Ahsan Butt of Kalihand Sports Club under the aegis of Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda.
Batting first after winning the toss, HCC Kalihand set a target of 156 runs in 20 overs for the loss of ten wickets. Syed Alyas and Tahseen were the main scorers with 47 and 32 runs respectively. For FCC Dhara, Saddam and Sunny shared two wickets each. In reply, FCC Dhara could not chase the target and was bundled out for 132 runs in 17.3 overs. Saddam was the top scorer with 30 runs while Joginder added 27 to the total. For HCC Kalihand, Tahseen bowled a fine spell and took four wickets followed by Jahangir who took two.
Tahseen was declared as Man of the Match for his best performance, while Man of the Tournament award was given to Syed Alyas of HCC Kalihand for his best all round performance.
General Secretary YSCC, Faizan Ali Tramboo was the Chief Guest while Waseem Raja Chief Coordinator YSCC was the Guest of Honour besides Joint Secretary YSCC Rajid Ali Wani and Shabir Ahmed were the Special Guests on the occasion who presented a cash prize of Rs 6,000 with trophy to the winning team and Rs 4,000 to the runner up team. The match was officiated by Fareed Khan and Hafiz Shan as Umpires while Syed Kashif acted as Scorer.
