JAMMU: Justice Rajnesh Oswal of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court suspended sentence awarded to a Patwari, who was convicted and sentenced for one year imprisonment by the Special Judge Anti-Corruption Jammu.
High Court after hearing senior Adv Sunil Sethi with Adv Parimoksh Seth, also granted bail to Patwari Mohammad Sharief with observations that he shall furnish bail bonds along with two solvent sureties to the tune of Rs 50,000 each to the satisfaction of the Registrar Judicial of this Court. “He shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of UT of J&K without prior permission of this Court and shall appear before this Court on each and every date of hearing,” the Court directed.
