JAMMU: In support of their demand of regularisation of their services and release of pending wages, the daily rated, ITI trained and CP workers of PHE Department, who are on Kaam Chhoro Hartal for the last 53 days, on Wednesday held a protest amidst anti-government slogans.
Provincial President of All J and K PHE ITI Trained and CP Workers Association, Tanveer Hussain said that despite various requests made by the daily wagers the government has turned deaf ear to their genuine demand for which they are entitled.
Protesters asked the Chief Minister to take immediate steps in the direction of regularisation policy and payment of wages of agitating workers.
