JAMMU: On account of summer vacation in the State High Court with effect from 15th to 30th June (both days inclusive), the Chief Justice under Rule 12 of J and K High Court Rules 1999 nominated ‘Vacation Judges’ for both wings of the High Court to hear matters which may require to be dealt in the respective period.
According to the notification issued by Registrar General Kanzeez Fatima, Justice B.S Walia will be the Vacation Judge of Jammu Wing from 22nd June, 2015 onwards and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat will be the Vacation Judge of Srinagar Wing from 22nd June, 2015 onwards.
Meanwhile, Principal Sessions Judge Jammu nominated three Sessions Judges to deal with emergent criminal cases of Jammu District. According to the order Principal Sessions Judge Jammu R.S Jain will hold the Court from 15th to 19th June, 2015, Y.P Kotwal 3rdAdditional Sessions Judge will hold the Court from 20th to 24th June, 2015 and 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu M.K Sharma will hold the Court from 25th to 29th June, 2015.
In an another order issued by CJM Jammu S.C Katal nominated four Judicial Magistrates to function as Duty Magistrates during the summer vacation dealing with emergent criminal cases of Jammu District.
Romesh Lal Forest Magistrate Jammu will hold the Court from 15th to 18th June 2015, Parveen Pandoh Munsiff Jammu will hold the Court from 19th to 22nd June, 2015, O.P Bhagat Special Passenger Tax Magistrate Jammu will hold the Court from 23rd to 25th June, 2015 and Riaz-ul-Haq Mirza Special Electricity Magistrate Jammu will hold the Court from 26th to 29th June, 2015.
It is also mentioned in the orders that Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Sanjay Dhar will also hold the Court during the Summer Vacation. JNF
