Hakim Yasin refutins news reports; Says ready to offer support to any govt which is for development of Kashmir


Srinagar: Refuting the news reports regarding his unconditional offer of support to BJP which appeared in a section of press on Thursday, Peoples Democratic Front president and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin said he has been quoted out of context.
In a statement Hakim Yasin said that he has been misquoted in the report. “The bigger parties have a role to play and it is up to them to form the government. But the role of smaller parties is also important like 2002 and we will play our role.”
“I am ready to serve people of Kashmir and particularly people of Khansahib constituency in whatever capacity I am asked. I will support any party which is for the betterment and development of Kashmir.”
On the media reports about his offer of support to BJP, the MLA Khansahib said, “Deliberations and discussions over the issue are on and final call is yet to be taken. I’m ready to offer support to any government which is for the interests of Kashmiris. I won’t compromise on the interests of Kashmiris at any cost.”
However, he said, that it was in the best interests of Kashmiris that the elected government takes over without any delay. “People have high hopes with their representatives and it is high time that new government is formed which can alleviate the sufferings and miseries of people.”
Hakim Yasin also thanked people of Khansahib constituency for providing him another opportunity to serve them. While pledging that he will always work for the development of Khansahib and will side with them in their thick and thin, he said, “I assure people of constituency that I will serve them to the best of my abilities.”
He reiterated his pledge to work for the overall development of Budgam district with outmost sincerity and indomitable will. “In the times to come, Khansahib will turn into the marvellous crown of Budgam and I would continue to render my services for the well being of people of Khansahib and Budgam district.”
