JAMMU: Beating local side of Bandurakh Hockey Club 4-2 in the final, Gurdaspur Hockey Club clinched the 6-A-Side Hockey Tournament held at Bandhurakh hockey fields, here under the aegis of Hockey J&K.
Former Minister, Raman Bhalla, who was Chief Guest in final, gave away the title trophies and other individual prizes. Earlier, Tournament Director, Joginder Singh briefed the special guest about the event.
In all, eight teams took part in this knock-out competition. The final officiated by the technical panel including Matinder Pal Singh, Tajinder Singh (Raju) and Joginder Singh.
Among others present were Rajinder Singh Kuku (Senior Vice President Hockey India), G.S Bakshi (Secretary General Hockey J&K), Harmanan Singh (veteran hockey player), Devinder Singh (ex-Sarpanch) and Harjeet Singh.
