Gupta calls for rollback of New Job Policy

JAMMU: State Vice President National Conference Rattan Lal Gupta on Saturday denounced PDP and BJP coalition for its anti youth New Recruitment Policy and said that his party will not allow such sinister measures to be implemented in the large interest of unemployed educated youth of J&K and shall fight it at all forums with truth and nail by galvanizing the party and rank file.

In a statement, Gupta said that the purposed policy will give rise to nepotism and in the process meritorious youth will be left in lurch and there is a great possibility of exploitation of six lakh youth of the State.

The State Vice President referred to the initiatives taken by Omar led government during the past six years which heralded in new ERA of generating employability and creating opportunities of Jobs. In this context he made a mentioned of strictly Himayat, Udaan programme, SKWEPY and said these revolutionary steps opened up vistas of opportunities in profession and other fields of employment.

Gupta urged the government to take measures for carrying out Recruitment through Public Service Commission and Service Selection Board on fast track basis so that large number of vacancies are filled in time bound manner. “This will help they unemployed educated in a big way” he added.

Gupta called for immediate role back of the New Recruitment Policy and hoped that the Government will remove uncertainty generated by visionless move.
