JAMMU: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jammu North, Mohammad Alyas Khan on Wednesday held a
public grievances redressal camp at Dharmal Muthi to take stock of problems being faced by the people.
Tehsildar Jammu North along with Naib Tehsildar and representatives of all major departments including PWD (R&B), PDD, RDD, PHE, ZEO, TSO and other officers were present on the occasion.
A large number of people hailing from adjoining areas attended the camp and put forth their grievances related to better road connectivity, sanitation, scarcity of water, power supply, healthcare facilities and other issues pertaining to Revenue Department. Responding to the issues raised by the people, Khan gave on spot directions to the officers of the concerned department for redressal of the grievances put forth by the public. On the occasion more than 50 income certificates were issued. The concerned field officers assured SDM and public of the area to resolve the issues raised by the public during the public redressal camp in a time bound manner.
Khan directed the officers of the revenue and other departments present in the camp to keep themselves available to the public as and when required by them and immediately respond to their calls regarding their genuine demands. This is the second camp in the series of camps which are to be held in Sub Division, Jammu North on the directions of District Development Commissioner, Jammu.
