SRINAGAR: Green Land School Lajura clinched the District Pulwama Korfball title beating Pulwama Blues by a close margin of two points in the title clash that took place at Government Higher Secondary School, Lajura, Pulwama. Raziya Reyaz and Faisal remained top scorers for the winning team.
The event was organised by District Pulwama Korfball Association under the banner of J and K Korfball Association as part of annual calendar of activities.
Earlier, in the semifinals, Green Land beat Dangarpora Hawks while Pulwama Blues defeated Al Amaan International School Padgampora. In all, eight teams took part in this knock-out competition. Principal of GHSS, Lajura was chief guest on they occasion.
