JAMMU: State President, Shri Ram Sena, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajiv Mahajan, on Sunday said that “grand alliance” between Peoples Democratic Party, National Conference and Congress party to form the next government in the State is dangerous for Jammu and Ladakh regions of the State.
In a statement issued today, Rajiv Mahajan said, “The Jammu and Ladakh region have been the worst victims of discrimination at the hands of the successive governments, particularly National Conference and Congress, in the past. The nationalist forces of the State have always been neglected by the National Conference (NC), Congress and People Democratic Party (PDP) combinations.”
The discrimination with the Jammu region in the field of education, employment, development and political empowerment has been the main reason for the backwardness of the region, he said.
The historic mandate for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s led BJP in Jammu and Kashmir State has boosted the morale of the youth and refugees of Jammu Province, Rajiv said adding that the people hoped that they will free themselves of the slavery and the yoke of Kashmir centric politicians who remained in control for the last several decades.
He said if such “grand alliance” is come to power then it is need of an hour to make Jammu as separate State and Ladakh as Union territory.
