Grameen Bank imparts awareness on financial inclusion

POONCH: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department of J and K Grameen Bank in collaboration with NABARD organised Financial Literacy Cum Awareness Programme on the Pradhan Mantri’s Social Security Schemes at Village Kalai under the Branch Office Chandak.DDM NABARD Des Raj was the Chief Guest who spoke about the various schemes of NABARD and Digital India.Speaking on the occasion R.K Narang  Area Manager Rajouri/Poonch J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants regarding the benefits of social security schemes named Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana(PMJJBY),Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana(PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).C.K Raina, Branch Manager, BO Chandak J&K Grameen Bank made people aware of new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme) in which the premium rates to be paid by the farmers have been brought down substantially so as to enable more farmers avail insurance cover against crop loss on acoount of natural calamities and thrust is also given on activation of Rupay Card and IMPS. Representatives of various line departments also attended the programme. Besides huge gathering Panchs, Sarpanchs of the area also attended the said camp. Branch Head Chandak, C.K Raina presented the vote of thanks.
