RAJOURI : A team of Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (GPC) Amritsar comprising Swaran Singh, Tarwinder Singh and their colleagues distributed relief material to the victims of rains and floods in district Rajouri on Monday.
During interaction with the sufferers and the media persons GPC team members said that natural calamity in Jammu and Kashmir is a national disaster and the GPC firmly stands by the side of people of the State without any discrimination of caste, creed, colour or region. They said that GPC which is sending one lakh meals daily to Kashmir Valley besides uncooked ration and other relief material will reach out to the victims of border district of Poonch also.
Spokesman District Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Bhupinder Singh thanked GPC Amritsar for coming to the help and assistance of people of these border districts. He also called upon the people of the State to come forward to jointly face the disaster.
