Govt talk with separatists demeaning nationalists: JWAM

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Expressing serious concern over BJP led Central Government initiating talks with separatists through a delegation led by senior BJP leader Yaswant Sinha, President Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) Sunil Dimple on Tuesday slammed the move claiming it to be disgrace for people of Jammu and Kashmir besides nationalist forces.
Addressing the media persons, he said that by holding dialogue with perpetuators of unrest in the valley including Sayed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar, etc, the Government has backstabbed the people of this State who are fighting two simultaneous wars one along LoC with Pakistan and the other with anti-national forces inimical to the sovereignty of the nation.
Opposing vehemently the talks with separatists, Sunil said that initiating talks with Pakistani agents is the part and parcel of agenda of alliance conceived by BJP and PDP in the run to form government in the State. However, it seems that the way BJP Government is involving separatists into dialogue the nation will have to pay a heavy price, he added.
He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear his stance over separatists’ demand of freedom from India, holding pro-freedom rallies and seminars on the Indian soil, and waving Pakistani, ISIS and Chinese flags. He said that such a dialogue is an insult to martyrs of Uri attack.
