JAMMU: The government on Thursday constituted Committee for overall coordination of G-20 meetings to be held in the UT of J&K.
“Sanction is accorded to the constitution of a committee for overall co-ordination of G-20 meetings to be held in the Union Territory of J&K,” reads an order issued by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department.
As per order, the committee will be headed by Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department as its Chairman while Commissioner/Secretary, Transport Department, Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department, Administrative Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol Department and Administrative Secretary, Culture Department will be its Members. Further, Principal Secretary to the Government, Housing & Urban Development Department is also nominated as UT level Nodal Officer to coordinate the arrangements for G-20 meetings in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
