JAMMU: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali on Thursday said the government is planning to open 57 new ration depots in Uri to ease supply in the far-off areas of the constituency.
He informed that 36 Ghat Munshis have been deployed in the area for distribution of ration, adding that, presently 55 ration depots are functional in Uri.
He was replying to a question raised MLA Mohammad Shafi.
