Govt should review citizenship right of separatists: Kranti Dal

JAMMU: Kranti Dal Jammu expressed serious concern and anguish over the hue and cry made by the separatists over the issue of issuance of domicile certificate to West Pakistan Refugees and asked the government to immediately issue the same to them, besides urged the government to review the citizenship right of separatists who are indulging in anti-national and anti-social activities.
Talking to the media persons, the State President, Kranti Dal Jammu Pritam Sharma said that the West Pakistani Refugees have been living in Jammu and Kashmir since 1947 and they have complete right to get the citizenship right after the lapse of 70 years.
He said that nowhere in the world people after staying 70 years the are still deprived of the citizenship right, which is matter of concern.
He also said that West Pakistan Refugees are patriot and they abide by the Indian and State Constitution and there is no reason to deny the citizenship right to them.
He expressed surprise over the attitude of Dr Farooq Abdullah to openly support the separatists and Hurriyat Conference who are hell bent to damage the secularism, Kashmir and Indian State, besides they are always parroting about Pakistan and anti-India stance.
Lambasting the NC Jammu Province President Devender Singh Rana for openly supporting the move of Isalmisation, he said that Rana owes an explanation to the people of Jammu in general and people of Nagrota Constituency whether he is in the favour Islamisation of secularism. He said that Rana failed to convince his family over the issue of West Pakistan Refugees as his real brother is favoring the citizenship right to West Pakistani Refugees, whereas Rana is opposing.
Referring to the separatists, Pritam Sharma suggested both the govemments including State and Centre for constituting a commission to review the citizenship right of separatists who are indulging in anti-national and anti-social activities and their citizenship should be ceased immediately and sent to across the border.
Vijay Kumar, Akhil Gandotra, Sameer Gandotra, Rajinder Bhagat, Tarun Gupta and Thakur Karnal Chand were also present.
