Govt must explain absence of economic policy: Vakil

SRINAGAR: Former Minister and member AICC Abdul Gani Vakil in a statement lambasted the State Government for their absence of economic policy for the State.

The people continue to be in a miserable condition despite loud claims and brazen statements of the coalition leaders. He said bankruptcy of the government must be explained and the reasons behind need to be exposed for the public who are the taxpayers.

Thousands of daily wagers and other employees are suffering from immense hardships for nonpayment of their meager wages contractors who have exhausted their assets in government works are crying for non availability of payments, he mentioned.

Former minister said the existence of the government does not seem to be visible because there is no activity of development in any state department.

Vakil said government must come up with a solution for the economic stability at the earliest.
