NEW DELHI: The momentum of BJP-PDP Government in transforming the development profile of Jammu and Kashmir is exemplary with scenario of ongoing projects changing with each passing day.
This was claimed by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh on Wednesday while representing Jammu and Kashmir at the BJP CMs’ Conclave held at New Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President Amit Shah besides Chief Ministers of various BJP ruled States and other dignitaries shared the podium.
Dwelling on remarkable work accomplished in J&K by the BJP-PDP dispensation, DyCM mentioned about regularisation of daily rated workers, bringing pace and transparency in selection process of various posts in government sector, ensuring connectivity between rural hamlets and urban centres through network of roads, bridges and tunnels, disbursing relief to PoK refugees in a transparent manner, promoting tourism in Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir regions and impetus given to industrial sector through various measures besides giving impetus to ongoing development projects for obtaining desired results in coming days.
Showing keen interest in the state of affairs as discussed by DyCM Dr Nirmal Singh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi applauded the achievements attained by J&K Government and asked DyCM to continue the good work to bring about the desired changes in the developmental profile of the State.
