Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra on Monday flagged off relief material meant for the victims of the recent floods in Kashmir Valley.
“The material, including around two lakh pieces of blankets, sweaters and some utility items have been collected by Dainik Bhaskar Group from all over India”, an official spokesman said.
The Governor said that such philanthropic initiatives contribute significantly towards integrating the nation and strengthening ties between the communities.
He urged that the relief material should get into the hands of those who are in need of help. (PTI)
