Golden era of development under Azad’s rule unforgettable: Tara Chand

JAMMU: People of J&K cannot forget golden era of development when Ghulam Nabi Azad was the Chief Minster & Union Minister as a large quantum of developmental projects were initiated and even completed during his tenure. It was stated by former Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand while speaking during a meeting of Central Zonal Committee of Democratic Azad Party (DAP), which was also attended by people and delegates of R S Pura, Suchetgarh & Bishnah constituencies. Other leaders present on the occasion included former Minister R S Chib, former minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma, former MLA Th Balwan Singh, former Minister Gharu Ram choudhary, former Minister Jugal Kishore Sharma, former MLC Subash Gupta, President BAJ Adv M K Bhardwaj and senior leader Vinod Mishra.
Speaking on the occasion, DAP General Secretary, R S Chib said that statehood should be restored with full legal, land & job rights to people of Jammu & Kashmir and urged masses to support Ghulam Nabi Azad as DAP will provide a corruption-free & equitable development in all areas of J&K.
Dr Manohar Lal Sharma said that DAP as a party will always fight for issues of the masses. Thakur Balwan Singh said that people of J&K feel betrayed by downgrading of historic state besides depriving them of their rights to land and jobs. Others who spoke on the occasion included Gharu Ram, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Adv M K Bhardwaj and former MLC Subash Gupta.
