Jammu: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu participated in the Eleventh J and K State Wushu Championship which was held from 11th to 14th May at the Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
About 20 students of the school participated and won eight medals including two gold, two silver and four bronze.
The winners were Choudhary Zulkar Nain, Tarandeep Singh, Danish Kumar, Ansh Sharma, Vansh Parihar, Tanish Mehta, Shivam Chouhan and Ayushman Jamwal.
They were trained under the guidance of their coach, Danish Padha. Abhijeet Singh Chib accompanied them as Team Manager. The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh appreciated the remarkable performance of the Goenkans and the efforts of their coach.
