JAMMU: Students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu participated in 18th J and K State Judo Championship under the auspices of J and K State Sports Council and J and K Olympic Association.
In all, 34 students from the school participated in the competition and won 20 medals including 11 gold, five silver and four bronze.
The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Sisssngh congratulated the winners and their coaches, Vishal Jamwal and Avinash Sharma for imparting excellent coaching. Dr. Singh further added that this fine gesture will go a long way in promoting the cause of sports particularly in Judo.
