Dear Editor,
Congratulations to Dipa Karmakar for creating history by becoming the first Indian woman gymnast to qualify for the Rio Olympics. She is also the first Indian gymnast to qualify for the Olympics in 52 years. This is the result of her hard work and dedication. She has also when she won a medal in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and was the first Indian woman gymnast to feature in the finals of the World Championship. She is a medal prospect and world-class facilities should be provided to her.
