MENDHAR: A girl was booked for appearing in an examination on behalf of her sister at ITI Mendhar.
As per the police, Asiya Kouser, who hails from Ari village, was appearing in the exams instead of her sister, Nazia Kouser, in the theory paper of electrician trade.
Superintendent of the Examination Centre, Abdul Qayoom Khan and Deputy Suptd, Mehboob Khan got suspicious from the photograph of the candidate.
They inquired about the matter and then called police. The police party led by SHO Anzir Mir reached the ITI and took the candidate into custody. The girl has been booked for impersonation and cheating.
