UDHAMPUR: A housewife did an abortive bid to commit suicide by consuming poisonous substance in her house on Tuesday. On seeing her critical condition she was shifted to District hospital Udhampur.
According to police sources a girl identified as 23 years Rajani Devi daughter of Bharat Singh resident of village Umallah in Udhampur took some poisonous substances in her house.
However, her family members saw her condition lying unconscious condition, she was shifted to District hospital Udhampur. Doctors washed her stomach and till filing last report her condition was stated be stable. However police registered a case and launched the investigation.
