JAMMU: Government MAM College shall be playing against hosts GGM Science College in the final of the two-day annual inter-college (men) football tournament, here tomorrow.
In this four college competition, being played on knock-out basis, GGM Science College and Government MAM College won their respective opening round matches.
In the first round, Science College trounced Government College of Education 4-1 while MAM College defeated Government SPMR College of Commerce 5-4 via tie-breaker.
Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ), Prof Bachan Lal today declared open the event. On his arrival, the VC was received by Principal of host GGM Science College, Prof Rajesh Gupta and introduced with the participating teams and their officials.
Before start of the competition, Director Sports CLUJ, Dr Vinod Bakshi presented a brief note of the event. Registrar, CLUJ, Dr Jatinder Khajuria also spoke to the gathering.
The competition officiated by the technical panel including Ajay Singh, Aman Sudan, Madhav and Rahul Sharma.

MAM College, Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director, GCOE Jammu along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
