JAMMU: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary Mukul Wasnik on Thursday stressed the need of gearing up district, block and ward committee for the ongoing Assembly elections.
He suggested various ways and means to ensure victory of the party candidates.
Mukul Wasnik was speaking in a meeting of District Congress Committee Jammu (U) held on Wednesday at party headquarter, here.
Thakur Hari Singh highlighted the Congress Party’s role for achievements in order to ensure facilities to the people at their door step of the State, effectively handling of situations arisen out of devastating floods, rains and border firings etc.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Om Chopra, Maheshwar Singh, Kanta Bhan, Gurdarshan Singh, Yogesh Verma, Neeraj Gupta, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Sanjeev Sharma, B.S Mastana, S. Kirtan Singh, Madan Lal Malagar, P.S Chouhan, Santosh Sharma and Dr. Ramakant Khajuria.
