While complimenting the teaching fraternity, Prof Koul appreciated their altruistic devotion to their profession and said that teachers are like beacons of light, who guide the students in their formative years .
The celebrations included a gala show presented by students from all wings of the college. The teachers were given a very warm welcome by the students with a scintillating welcome song which was followed by items like Folk songs, play on illiteracy, speeches and recitations by the students of B. Ed, MCMP ETTC courses of the college and the school wing. Some games were also a part of the programme. The programme was anchored by Astha Jadaun, Anjali and Rukshana (B.Ed Students), bouquet and gifts were also distributed among the staff.
