JAMMU: Fruit and Vegetable Association (F&VA) Sabzi Mandi, Narwal, Jammu repeated its earlier team by unanimously electing all the members of previous tenure.
A working committee meet of association was held here on Thursday in which the members recommended for extension of the previous team.
They unanimously recommended the names of already elected team whose tenure was completed and fresh elections were announced.
The working committee recommendations were placed before the general house and were passed collectively.
Romesh Chander Parihar was unanimously elected as President, Shakti Kumar Gupta Vice President, Joginder Mohan Puri General Secretary, Ajay Gupta (Rocky) Secretary and Bishamber Nath as Cashier of the Association.
However, nine members were in favour of fresh voting but the others were of the opinion to repeat the previous team keeping in view its excellent performance.
