BHADARWAH: Surroundings of Bhadarwah and higher reaches of Chenab Valley experienced fresh spell of snowfall besides plains were lashed with torrential rains since last night.
Snowfall was witnessed at Kailash Kund , Asha Pati , Seoj Dhar , Shankoja village , Chattar Gali , Padri , Bhal Padri , Subar Dhar , Bud Dhar Top and Hallaran which resulted dipping of temperature into minus and forcing people to wear warm clothes and lit fire places.
There was heavy rainfall since last night in Chenab Valley and snowfall in surrounding areas which resulted in temperature dipping into minus.
The whole valley is gripped by bone chilling and severe cold and people especially children/students are suffering while attending their classes.
People mostly remained inside their houses due to severe cold.
According to an official of MeT Department the weather will improve from today evening.
