Freedom fighters & martyrs receive due respect under Modi regime: Priya Sethi

JAMMU: Priya Sethi, National Executive member of BJP former Minister and Prabhari Social Media BJP highlighted the significant strides made by the Modi government in honouring the sacrifices of freedom fighters and martyrs in the last nine years of governance at the Centre.
The former minister was speaking while addressing an organizational meeting of Gandhi Nagar Mandal here today. In the meeting, Rekha Mhajan, District President, Bharat Bhushan, Mandal President and Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta were also present.
Priya Sethi commended the Union Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for its unwavering commitment to acknowledging and respecting the contributions and sacrifices made by Freedom Fighters and Martyrs over the last seven decades.
She contrasted this with the efforts of previous government headed by Congress, emphasizing that rarely had such initiatives been undertaken.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the government has taken numerous steps to pay tribute to these heroes.
Priya Sethi pointed out that schools, colleges, roads, and railway stations across the nation have been named after these valiant Martyrs.
In particular, she lauded the government for naming the Udhampur Railway Station after the Martyr Tushar Mahajan, a significant tribute to his memory.
The senior BJP leader asserted that the country will never forget the supreme sacrifice made by the valiant soldiers. The indebted nation has all along been bowing their heads with respect and deep esteem for the sacrifices made by soldiers, she said, adding that martyrs will continue to inspire generations for serving the Nation in whatever capacity they can.
“It is heartening to witness the Modi government’s dedication to ensuring their sacrifices are never forgotten,” she added. During her address, Priya Sethi also reminded people of the immense contributions and sacrifices made by the activists of Praja Parishad towards the nation’s cause and urged that their contributions be remembered and acknowledged as well. In addition to discussing the government’s initiatives, she provided information about the ongoing “Meri Maati Mera Desh” Campaign aiming to foster a spirit of patriotism and gratitude for our nation among the citizens, recognizing the pivotal role played by Freedom Fighters, Martyrs, and other contributors to our nation’s growth and development.
She urged the people of Jammu East constituency to wholeheartedly participate in the campaign and contribute to making it a grand success.
Rekha Mahajan, District President, in her address, reiterated the importance of acknowledging and respecting the contributions of these heroes, emphasizing that their sacrifices are an integral part of India’s rich history and identity.
