Fourth Eid Diwali Christmas T20 Cricket Cup KCSC, Christian Club register wins

JAMMU: KC Sports Club and Christian Sports Club registered wins in the ongoing Fourth Eid Diwali Christmas T20 Cricket Cup, jointly organised by J and K Police, Simula Sports Club, Atman Sports Club and Christian Sports Organisation at Parade Ground, here on Thursday.
In the first match of the day, KC Sports Club defeated Tawi Cricket Club by 46 runs.
Batting first, KC Sports XI scored 139 runs in 16 overs. Ateef (39) and Sahil Lalotra (34) were the main scorers. Kamalpreet took two wickets while Shubam, Deepa and Sahib shared apiece for Tawi Cricket Club.
In reply, Tawi Cricket Club could not achieve the target and managed to score only 93 runs in 16 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Asif was the top scorer with 27 runs, while Nayeem contributed 24. Sahil picked three wickets while Noushad and Karan Bhat shared two each. Sahil was adjudged Man of the Match.
In the second match, Christian Sports Club scripted a 6-wicket win against Bahu Fort Cricket XI. Batting first, Bahu Fort Cricket Club was bowled out for 129 runs in 20 overs, Mohit (25), Sunny (24) and Ropesh (21) were the main scorers. Anchal took three wickets while Nitu Khokher clinched two and Sunny and Ambroose shared one each for Christian Sports.
In reply, Christian Sports Club with the brilliant 58 runs inning of Hinan chased the target in 18.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Danny added 23 runs to the total. Yogesh took three wickets while Mukesh picked one. Hinan was adjudged Man of the Match for his match winning knock.
Earlier, Chief Guest, Anil Mangotra, Chief Prosecuting Officer NHRC Jammu was introduced with the participating teams and conveyed best wishes to them for their best performance in the tournament.
The matches were officiated by Sandeep Manchanda, Vinod, Sunil Sambyal and Danny.
FIXTURE: RCC Rainawari shall take on Janipur Cricket Club at 8:30 AM; Evershine Cricket XI shall meet BCC at 11:30 AM; Sai Cricket XI shall lock horns against JK Warriors Club at 2:15 PM tomorrow.
