BANDIPORA: District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Sajad Hussain, on Tuesday inaugurated a 10-day self defence training programme for girls at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora.
Organized by the Education Department in collaboration with Ali’s Sports Academy under RMSA, as many as 2,000 girl students are taking part in the training programme during which they will be imparted necessary self defence skills.
It was given out that four students-Sabahat Afreen, Syed Fatiqa, Syed Nazim and Sheikh Adnan have been selected for International Taikwondo Championship in Bangkok on 23rd March, 2017. Chief Education Officer, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Principal GGHSS Bandipora, and other concerned were also present on the occasion.
