NOWSHERA : Four persons were injured in two different accidents in Nowshera within last 24 hours.
In the first instance a youth identified as Sunil Kumar (19) son of Krishan Lal resident of village Bagnoti was seriously injured when the motorcycle he was driving, was hit by an over speeding vehicle at Rajal on Jammu – Poonch National Highway.
The youth was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera. Since the condition of the injured youth was critical, he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu. SDM Nowshera and Addl SP Nowshera also reached the spot and dispatched the injured in a special ambulance.
In the second incident three persons including a child were injured during a head-on collision between a Car bearing registration No JK12-6579 and a BSF vehicle No JK02AX-6569. Two BSF Jawans and the minor child were immediately rushed to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani where they are under treatment.
The police in both the incidents have registered the cases for investigation.
