JAMMU: The government on Monday re-designated four IAS officers of J&K Segment of AGMUT cadre.
“Consequent upon the promotion of the four IAS officers of J&K Segment of AGMUT cadre to the Higher Administrative Grade (Level-15 in the pay matrix )/Super Time (Level-14 in the pay matrix)/Selection grade (Level-13 in the pay matrix) by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and subsequent assumption of the charge of the post(s) on January 1, 2026, it is ordered that Sanjeev Verma, IAS, (AGMUT:2001) has been designated as Principal Secretary, Election Department, Prasanna Ramaswamy G, IAS (AGMUT:2010), has been designated as Commissioner/Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department, Ram Niwas Sharma, IAS (AGMUT:2010) has been designated as Commissioner/Secretary, School Education Department, and Avny Lavasa, IAS (AGMUT:2013) has been designated as Secretary, Transport Department,” read an order issued by M.Raju, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department.
“Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, JKAS, Director, School Education, Jammu, shall hold the charge of the post of Director, Jammu and Kashmir, State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT), in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” reads a spate order.
