JAMMU: On Tuesday when Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the venue of the public rally after inaugurating Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Super Specialty Hospital, thousands of people eagerly awaiting his arrival gave him a standing ovation. The large audience included two former Congress ministers, R S Chib and Jugal Kishore Sharma.
Though they were both invited by the organising committee in their capacity as former MLA and former Medical Education Minister but their presence in the crowd that too behind the seats reserved for BJP and PDP leaders raised many eyebrows.
Interestingly, they were both seen cheering the arrival of the VVIP’s in the Pandal while standing and joining the chorus of loud clapping.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the loud cheer by the vibrant crowd, the jubilant supporters took their seats. Both the Congress leaders also occupied their seats only after the VVIPs were comfortably seated on the dais.
