NOWSHERA: The forest around Nowshera including the belts of Tai Top, Kanara, Sajjal, Bhajnova, Baha Kheri and Ganya caught devastating fire causing heavy loss to the exchequer.
Immediately on receipt of information the SDM Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma directed the fire services and number of fire tenders were moved to the affected areas with the forest protection teams.
After great efforts the fire was brought under control in the compartments No 108, 109, 113, 114, 145 149, and 152/N.
