Football referees course begins

SRINAGAR: Organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) under the banner of All India Football Federation (AIFF), the five-day Referees Development Programme got underway at Bakshi Stadium, here on Monday. Around 40 candidates and football referees from all over the State are attending to the theory and practical classes at different venues, here, a handout issued here on Monday informed.
The course is being conducted under the supervision of Rizwan-ul-Haaq and Prabhat Singh, experts from AIFF.
Earlier, the programme was inaugurated by Secretary, State Sports Council, Javed Ahmad Shah, who appreciated the efforts of JKFA. The programme has been sponsored by the J and K State Sports Council and J&K Bank.
