JAMMU: After abolishing the Monitoring Cell, a ‘Follow-up Cell’ headed by an IAS officer, has been established in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Wednesday.
According to GAD, ‘Follow-up Cell’ will maintain the record of directions/decisions of the Chief Minister and to track the status of implementation of such directions/decisions. The records of the erstwhile Monitoring Cell shall be handed over to the Director, Plan Monitoring and Project Appraisal, Planning and Development Department.
The staff which was working in the erstwhile Monitoring Cell has been transferred to the newly created ‘Follow-up Cell’.
