FMPHWs protest for release of pending wages

POONCH: Family Multi Purpose Health Workers (FMPHWs) on Monday staged a demonstration in front of the office of Chief Medical Officer Poonch demanding release of their pending wages.
Protesting workers alleged that they have not been paid their salaries for last the 10 months despite repeated requests. They also warned the district administration to resolve their issue within a week otherwise they will go for hunger strike.
The protesting FMPHWs also demanded time bound promotions. They appealed to the concerned authorities for resolving their issues at the earliest so that they may not suffer in the future.
