JAMMU: The government on Tuesday posted five newly promoted Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySPs) in the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and repatriated five others to the Home Department.
An order issued by Secretary to Government, Dr Piyush Singla stated today that five Inspectors following their promotion have been posted as DySPs in ACB with immediate effect. They include Farooq Ahmed Wani, Khursheed Ahmed Wani, Gurmeet Singh, Laxmi Kant and Champa Devi.
The order further said that four DySPs posted in ACB, J&K, are repatriated to Home Department for further posting. They included Zafar Iqbal Manhas, Rameez Rashis Bhat, Masood Ahmed Beigh and Rais Ahmed Mir.
Besides, Ashwani Kumar, Inspector posted in ACB, upon his promotion as DySP, has been repatriated to Home Department for further posting , the order said.
