This was for the first time that an officer of the rank of ADGP (Chief of Fire & Emergency Services) himself led such an operation from the front to keep the moral of the troops high, who participated in this operation demonstrating all skills and professionalism without bothering about their own life and safety. The act of Fire Services sleuths has been widely appreciated by all.
When contacted, Dr Hina Bhat, said, “I noticed the fire in her retiring room after sensing the smell of burning wires and alerted the staff.”
“The fire service was informed, and we also tried to douse the flames using the fire extinguishers,” she said, indicating that the fire was apparently caused by a short circuit.
