JAMMU: The Legislative Assembly on Wednesday constituted an 11-member Committee on Public Accounts for the period ending 31st March, 2018 with recommendation to the Legislative Council for reference of two members to associate with the said committee.
Meanwhile, the House also constituted 11-member Committee on Estimates for the period ending 31st March, 2018 with recommendation to the Legislative Council for reference of two members to associate with the said committee. The House also constituted 11-member Committee on Public Undertakings for the period ending 31st March, 2018 with recommendation to the LC for reference of two members to associate with the said committee. Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri had moved the Motions in the LA in this regard. Meanwhile, in the Upper House, Secretary LC Abdul Majid Bhat read the recommendation of LA for reference of two members from LC to associate with the Committee on Public Accounts, Committee on Estimates and Committee on Public Undertakings.
