Fill vacant posts of Sanskrit teachers, demands teachers’ forum

JAMMU: President, Sanskrit Teachers Forum (STF), Dr Vinod Kumar Shastri hailed the decision of State Government for considering the diploma and degrees of the Sanskrit scholars obtained from the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University), Kot Bhalwal at par with the University of Jammu
He also expressed thanks to BJP State President Sat Sharma and MLA Vivodh Gupta and MLC Vikramaditya Singh for raising the issues of Sanskrit scholars in the legislature.
He asked government to regularise all the Rehber-e-Taleem teachers and making Sanskrit as a compulsory subject in the classes from IX to XII and fill the vacant post of the teachers.
Dr Shastri also extended thanks to Dr Nirmal Kumar Singh, Deputy Chief Minister, Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Education, Rajiv Sharma, MLA Akhnoor, Ashok Koul, BJP Organisational Secretary and Samita Sethi, Director School Education, Jammu. Dr Prakash Shastri, Ashwam Sharma, Sanjay Sharma, Kasturi Lal and Pawan Sharma were also present in the press conference.
