MARH: Department of Agriculture Sub Div Marh under the guidance of SDAO Marh K.K Gupta organised a farmers awareness camp on pulse crops under seed village programme at village Mishriwalla. A large number of farmers took part in the camp who were made aware on improved agronomic practices by AEO Mishriwalla Mohan Singh and JAEO Arun Jaral.
They were tought to use less quantity of insecticides and pesticides and adopt IPM techniques for better yield.
Joginder Singh TMO from Monsanto India Ltd and Ravi Kant MDO of Monsanto informed the farmers how to get max and improved agronomic practices in corn hybrids. Sarpanch Mishriwalla Gurbachan Singh also spoke on the occasion and asked the farming community to come forward and take max benefits from departmental schemes. Panch Swarno Devi, ReZs Chowdhary, Jitender Verma and Vishal Gupta were also present in the camp.
