MARH: Department of Agriculture Sub Div Marh under the supervision of SDAO Marh K.K Gupta conducted farmers awareness camp at village Nai-Basti Shamsher Mohalla Panchayat lower Bhalwal Zone Mishriwaala and under the guidance of AEO Mohan Singh.
A large number of women farmers took part in the camp who were made aware by Arun Jaral JAEO Kangrail about the different departmental schemes, CSS, RKVY, ATMA, NFSM and seed village. The main focus was laid on KCC, mushroom cultivation as this type of farming is income generating and employment generation. Sarpanch Mishriwalla Gurbachan Singh also spoke on the occasion and asked the women farmers to come forward for getting maximum benefits from the departmental schemes. Adil Muneer from green planet, save the mother earth also spoke on organic farming. Panch Rattan Lal was also present in the camp.
