NOWSHERA: Police on Thursday rescued a farmer trapped in flash flood in Nowshera.
According to a report, a farmer namely Kalam Din son of Makhan Din resident of village Kanara under the jurisdiction of Police Station Nowshera got trapped in flash flood in Jameer Nallah, Nowshera, Rajouri while crossing it.
On receiving the information, police under the supervision Addl. SP Nowshera Rakesh Kumar and SDPO Nowshera Sugran Sukhla, along with police party rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation. After hard efforts and putting their own life to risk, they finally managed to rescue the fellow and thereby saved a precious human life.
Local assistance from the army units and the civilians was also sought. The family of the rescued person applauded the role of police in saving a human life.
