JAMMU: The Jammu Police on Thursday arrested three youths with fake currency notes of Rs 81,000 in the thickly populated Pacca Danga area of the Jammu city. According to reports, a police party during patrolling intercepted three persons who were moving under suspicious condition. During checking fake Indian currency of Rs 81,000 was recovered from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Akhoon, son of Mohammed Yousaf, resident of Hathipora Baramulla, Bilal Ahmed Gojri, son of Rehman Gojri, resident of Drangbal Baramulla and Ashok Kumar Sharma son of Rasila Ram resident of Bharmeen, Ramnagar, district Udhampur.
A case FIR No. 170/2014 stands registered in Police Station Pacca Danga under relevant section of law.
